JOIN OUR INCREDIBLE OUTREACH EVENT AT IAPD 2025 IN CAPE TOWN ON THE 21ST OF OCTOBER

We invite you to join us for our outreach initiative at a local township school in Cape Town. Together, we will spend a morning focused on education, uplifting the community, and immersing ourselves in the vibrant South African culture. We will be educating and screening children, and we would love for you to join in on the fun! From school choirs to singing mamas, we are certain this will be a day filled with cherished memories.

OUR COLLABORATION PARTNERS

In collaboration with the Dental Wellness Trust and Alice Grasveld, we will be screening and educating children from a local school in Cape Town.

Founded in 2011 by renowned London dentist Dr. Linda Greenwall, the Dental Wellness Trust charity has one clear mission: to improve the general health and well-being of young children through dental wellness, especially those most in need. They have a strong presence in Cape Town through their ongoing community service initiatives, including the “Toothbrush Mamas” project, where they teach children how to brush their teeth, wash their hands, and practice basic life skills. Over 35,000 children attend daily to brush their teeth and wash their hands with clean water. Every year, the Dental Wellness Trust holds a graduation ceremony to honor the children for their hard work and dedication.

MEET OUR EDUCATOR: ALICE GRASVELD

Alice Grasveld and her team will be delivering fantastic educational content to the children. Alice, the winner of the 2023 Colgate Smile BSBF Award, is a passionate and experienced educator, particularly for children. She has conducted research in Kenya, educated numerous children in South Africa, and is deeply familiar with the oral health crisis in Africa.
